We created this song during the early days of COVID while staying put. Had a very meaningful conversation with a friend from University. From her story, the female character in the second half of the song was shaped. I was exploring writing from different perspectives so I would then write the male perspective. Though the song carries a somber sound, the overall message is one of hope and supporting those who need a little more love and understanding.
